if you register to www.gamebattles.com and create a team in the PC games ladder you can verse other people in mini-games online but if you want an RPG game to play there are some low rated games such as Adventure quest and mech quest but they do not support chat, the onlyfree online games game i can think of with chat that isn't included above would be world of warcraft, i know its not free but there's a trial version, you could maybe try that out until your trial runs out and if you enjoy it go out and buy it :)

OEM software software can be downloaded legally at discount prices. The reason that the prices are cheaper than retail is because of reduced costs associated with CDs, packaging, marketing, shipping, manuals, etc. You don't get any of this with OEM software but the trade off is that it is cheaper.
A lot of people don't realize what the bulk of the cost is in buying software. It is not a box or a disk or a manual, but rather a license to use the software.
I have bought OEM software in the past and been happy with it. The discount for the particular product you mentioned seems steep (so I would be highly suspicious). Is this a respectable company? Unfortunately, the only way to know if you are buying a legal product is to see some kind of proof that the distrubtor has the legal right to sell the software. Some sort of distribution/licensing agreement. Why not send an email and ask for proof that the product is legit? It would be the safe play for your legal concerns.
It is usually a scam yes, you will get the product, and you will get a key for it, but the people who sell it got it illegally and generated a key for it...
In other words, you wodiscount download softwarent get ripped off if you buy it, youll get what they advertise, but they got it illegally, therefore it is illegal...

It's just a SPAM. Don't trust them. I don't know if it's legal but it's not safe, that's for sure. You might get some unreadable discs, or who knows what. Just ignore those email messages. Don't even try to download, it may infect your PC with spyware or viruses.

I wouldn't visit the site, because most likely it's just a front for identity theft. OEM software software can be downloaded legally at discount prices. The reason that the prices are cheaper than retail is because of reduced costs associated with CDs, packaging, marketing, shipping, manuals, etc. You don't get any of this with OEM software but the trade off is that it is cheaper.
A lot of people don't realize what the bulk of the cost is in buying software. It is not a box or a disk or a manual, but rather a license to use the software.
I have bought OEM software in the past and been happy with it. The discount for the particular product you mentioned seems steep (so I would be highly suspicious). Is this a respectable company? Unfortunately, the only way to know if you are buying a legal product is to see some kind of proof that the distrubtor has the legal right to sell the software. Some sort of distribution/licensing agreement. Why not send an email and ask for proof that the product is legit? It would be the safe play for your legal concerns.
It is usually a scam yes, you will get the product, and you will get a key for it, but the people who sell it got it illegally and generated a key for it...
In other words, you wodiscount download softwarent get ripped off if you buy it, youll get what they advertise, but they got it illegally, therefore it is illegal...
The best way to get GENUINE OEM software is to go to a store that may sell OEM versions of software...
Or get a cd somewhere...
It's just a SPAM. Don't trust them. I don't know if it's legal but it's not safe, that's for sure. You might get some unreadable discs, or who knows what. Just ignore those email messages. Don't even try to download, it may infect your PC with spyware or viruses.
I highly doubt it's legal, first, it came as an unsolicited email (spam), secondly, the price is 75% off retail, third, I'm sure the website address is something really shady looking like discountsoftware.adobe.asdfdfh.com.cx. I wouldn't visit the site, because most likely it's just a front for identity theft. Even if you don't enter your CC info into the site and submit an order they may stealth install a trojan or other virus to collect your information without your knowledge. Best bet, just delete any and all spam you get, because 99%, if not 100% of the time it's just a scam.

I use Photoshop Elements 6.0, and enjoy using the artistic effects in it so I can make a picture look like a painting. I'd like to find more software that does this sort of thing, either freeware or something under $40 hopefully. Got any ideas? Thanks!

free flash mp4 playerMP4 Player Memory Reduced From 4GB To 967MB After Reformatting?
My friend recently got an MP4 player for Christmas, it's memory capacity read 4GB when he first started using it. After afew files became unusable, a reformat was necessary to wipe the memory. However, after reformatting it, the memory now reads 967MB only, I have tried everything I can think of to resolve this but am now stuck! The player reads 100% free memory, it consists of Samsung flash chips which I thought would be reliable. Dofree flash mp4 playeres anyone have any solutions to this, other than buying another mp4 player?

Ex. format f: this should do it. if not contact the manufacturer of the MP4. Hope this helps, Brodster

Only a month ago, we learned that former top file-sharing program Kazaa settled with the RIAA for $115 million, and that current top P2P application LimeWire was being sued for an estimated $476 million. The LimeWire case is expected to go to court next month.

They are so busy running here and there trying to stop these companies rather then thinking of other different stratgies to take them down. I mean, in world, there well always be a pirater, so why keep trying top p2p file sharing sitesto stomp them out. If you stomp one, 5 more take their place. They should think of ways to embrace the P2P technology like Warner Bros. etc.

When edonkey got bombed, I spent less than 2 minutes finding another P2P network, and I like it better. You can't put a genie back into the bottle, the ttop p2p file sharing sitesechnology exists, now adapt or die, RIAA.
It's dangerous for one thing. You never really know what you are downloading. It's a great way to get spyware and viruses onto your computer.
It's also illegal - plain and simple. You're getting a product for free. If you're on one of this p2p programs, you are also likely uploading it to someone else as well. And it's not like loaning a CD to a friend...you're giving it to 'god knows who'. This only hurts everyone in the end. And it hurts the bands and groups that make the music most. Remember, you're not just hurting the huge record companys, you're hurting your favorite artists as well.

The problem is that there really is no way to protect the copyright files that are being shared. If there was a way to keep people from breaking the law by sharing copyright materials, P2P would be the best way to let people hear what you have created.

I figured it out...it has to do with the licensing..you have to go to options and double click searching..under that u double click basic and unselect "show license warning"...try that if ur hdownload limewire 4.10.9aving that problem...thanks for your advice<3

Chery is totally right.. ZILLATUBE IS THE BEST!! it does just about everything for you. MPG, AVI, WMV... its very good for powerpoint as well. I have been search for hours on the internet for a converter for powerpoint and this one finally worked. I was able to put the MPG on my powerpoint

So they are basically scamming you and you will loose your money. So this is never a really good idea.
Dont trust giveaway sites, they are almost always scams. Only trust them if they are from a reputable company doing a special promotion, ie. Apple or any other big company.

avast free antivirus reviewWhat's BEST...disable vs uninstall Norton Internet Security while downloading(and using) Avast Free Antivirus?
I'd like to try the free Antivirus by Avast mainly because I've read so many good reviews about it. I have Norton Internet Security installed currently in my PC. I've read that 2 antivirus programs are bound to conflict w/ each other. Should I uninstall completely my Norton or can I just temporarily disable it while I download the free Avast?

I used everything from the single stand alone version all the way up to the Enterprise Edition. Since 1999, not much has changed with their service. They added some bells and whistles, yet it does not keep up with what is happening. And they continue to charge more and more. I haven't figured that out yet.
Avast is a great product at a great price (FREE) for home use.

If you still have the disk (norton)then go to symantic website for the removal tool then try avast if you decide that you do not like it then uninstall and reinstall norton,my prefefance would be to stay with norton
I did this for a friend and Norton released all it's stored viruses, but a quick system restore and disabled Norton, downloaded Avast (I've used it on my P.C. for four years with no problems) ran Avast uninstalled Norton and Avast neatly cleaned up the mess.

I've had no problems updating and running either programme, though I wouldn't run both at the same time - slows computer down to a crawl while scanning. So try it and see. Or, rather than uninstalling, disable Norton while trying Avast.
Remember to set a restore point before you do any alterations.
As My Brainhurt has warned: clean out any quarantined nasties first.

Steve Jobs has done a much better job keeping things under wraps (compared to the iPhone 4). I`d wait for the iPhone 5. You will be getting better features for the same minimum of 200$. As for the small iPhone question, some peopiphone 5le say that apple will come out with an iPhone nano. But many websites i`ve researched have cited Apple execs that this is not true. As for apple tradition, the iPhone 5 will be just about the same size as iPhone 4, but faster(A5 Processor) and lighter.(Most Likely). There is also a chance it will be more grippier for your hand.
In short, wait for the iPhone 5.

I was actually looking at an article in Japan, before the disasters, was that the iPhone 5 will be coming along in September-October. An iPod can be synced with only one iTunes account at a time. once you switched to a new iTunes account or a new computer. You have to authorize your iPod to it at first, then you can download my music to ipodupload music and video from the new iTunes to your iPod. But this way will overwrite the originial files on iPod with the new iTunes. You may try this iPod transfer, it can help you copy files from iPod to computer for backup, you can also use it as an iTunes alternative to upload music and video. It will not erase your original iPod files. It's safe and works pretty well for me.
