I am having difficulty in checking for updates in AVG, because the options for updating it in the internet was replaced by selecting a folder. It states "Look the folder with the updated file and press ok". This time, I am not able to independently choose where to save it, either in a folder or the internet just like what update avg free editionI did last week.
you might just want to uninstall it and download form official website, i know its kinda long winded, but i uses avg and i cant find the option either but i had mine to go for internet updates and checked never ask me again sorry wasnt much help but i recommend just uninstalling and reinstalling and selecting intupdate avg free editionernet and then checking the box that says never ask me again to remove any chance of this happening again.
This probably doesn't answer your question, but if you right click the AVG icon on the bottom right of your screen, one option is "check for updates". If you double-clicked the icon, it's under services.
