Both have an annual fee of $30.00, and I would like to accumulate flier miles without a credit card. I hate debt, so I think this is a great option. What is your opinion? Thank you in advance.
It depends on where you live, but I would pick U.S.alaska airlines check in Airways b/c there are more options w/in the continental U.S. (I live in CA). Alaska Airlines is concentrated primarily on the west coast.
I just cancelled my US air card. I haven't been able to use my miles in 3 years because of blackout datesalaska airlines check in. I would recommend a world card where you get world point and you can trade the points for cash, flights, etc. I put everything (rent, utilities, etc) on my card to get cash back.
