i am going sorta old school here when i say that my 2 favorite game music of all time would have to be diablo 1 and morrowind. i don't know why i just always liked the music on there.

Morrowind is good (as is Oblivion); gotta agree with you on that.
I'd have to say my favorite VG soundtrack would have to be Star Fox 64. Granted, the quality of the music was not far above MIDI (if at all), but the music itself was astounding. If done with a symphony orchestvideo game music soundtrackra, it would sound simply amazing.
silent hill soundtrack is kool
Metal Gear Solid soundtracks are best, they have won many awards. Also Shadow of the Colossus.
I really enjoy all the Halo series' soundtracks. Lots of good orchestra songs, and some nice guitar solos.
