we didnMy boss forced us to lie to our clients & threatened termination if we didn't, is this "good cause" to quit?

Am I still eligible for unemployment in Oregon?
This answer really hinges on how Oregon law interprets the phrase "good cause". If you are being told to do something which is illegal, then you *probably* have good cause to quit. For instance, if you work in a financial institution, and lying to your clients will violate banking laws, then threatening to terminate you for NOT lying to clients is not only unethical, its also probably illegal. we didnHowever, if you worked for a used car dealership, there is no real criminal offense of lying to the clients... (but it may be fraud if they buy a car based on what you tell them), and so no, its probably NOT good cause to quit.

You didn't give us enough information to really work on here. You should consult an attorney who is licensed to practice in Oregon to give you some practical advice on how the law works given your particular situation. Forwe didn a referral, contact your local or state bar association.
I agree with Eric. In all likelyhood you would not get unemployment. If you don't like what they are doing (and I don't blame you) you should quietly look for work elsewhere.
No dont quit if you feel like being able to pay your bills. Do look elsewhere though, and quit when you have something else lined up. I wouldnt give the boss the satisfaction of a two week notice though.
